This past week, a bill was proposed in Canada, called “C-4.” This bill will make it a crime for any pastor, or potentially, any Christian, to share their faith with a person who identifies as transgender or homosexual. So called, “conversion therapy” has been illegal for years. This is the practice of sitting a person who identifies as transgender or homosexual, and forcing them to listen to a Biblical, or any other view. This bill goes much further than that. In this bill, anyone who even shares their faith with such a person can be held criminally liable.
In protest, thousands of pastors across Canada have determined that today will be, “Biblical view” Sunday. They have covenanted with one another to preach today on the Biblical view of sexuality. They have asked pastors in the United States to stand in solidarity with them.
That is what we are going to do today.
The Biblical view of sexuality is the same as the Biblical view of anything. It is about origins.
